A feature to find out the home directory of a file to include or its
bitmap (or simply its absolute pathname) is needed, as so many have
found, that changing directories via Selfile leads to X bitmaps from gs
that xdvik won't find no more.
OK, I agree this feature is worthwhile if SELFILE is defined. The
current home directory should, I guess, be changed to the dirname of the
new DVI file when one is selected. If someone sends me a patch, I'll
include it, or I'll write it myself eventually.
However, I don't think the dirname of the first DVI file (whether
SELFILE or not) should be included. That would be quite contrary to
standard conventions on Unix.
